Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Lois Morrison-Keffer and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Los Gatos, CA. My current psychotherapy practice includes adults, couples, young adults, and some adolescents.
My general theory of psychotherapy places prime importance on the relationship between the client and the therapist. I consider myself a practical therapist addressing pragmatic everyday issues, as well as longstanding issues and current or early trauma and adjustment.
My specialty of practice is in treating adults and couples struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, and neonatal death.
I also have a general practice treating depression, anxiety, work stress, grief, family issues, marital issues, relocation issues and other adjustment to life issues.
Therapy can be brief or long term depending on what's needed.
With over 40 years of clinical experience and 31 years in private practice, I have seen a wide variety of presenting problems.
My initial training was in humanistic psychology and holistic health, and then extensive training in clinical psychology as well as marital and family therapy. Populations I have served in the past include adults, adolescents, children; individuals, couples, families; group therapy with both adolescents and adults; and support groups for infertile couples.
